Being accessible to our clients and patients in Skowhegan, ME and Central Maine is one of our highest priorities. If there is a pet in need, we want to do what we can to help. One way we extend the reach of our care is by offering mobile vet visits. In a situation where you or your pet cannot travel, Animal Medical Clinic may be able to work with you to arrange a home visit. One of our veterinarians will come to your home at the agreed-upon date and time to perform a service, which may include:
- Wellness exam
- Vaccinations
- Heartworm testing
- Nail trim
- Ear cleaning
- Humane euthanasia
If you need us to come to you to treat your pet, let us know!
We understand that some of our clients and patients may be unable to make the trip to our practice for health reasons. Furthermore, house calls can be a preferable way for anxious pets to receive essential care. Clinics can cause a lot of stress and sensory overload for some pets, so we’re glad to accommodate them—they deserve nothing less.
Contact us as early in advance as you can so we can make it out to your home on the day that works best for you. Let us know what services your pet needs, so we can determine which supplies to bring.
On the day of the house call, arrange a quiet space in your home where we can safely treat your pet. Make sure there will be no distractions or unexpected visits from family or friends during this time.
If you have any questions about pet house calls and whether we can provide a certain service at your home, please call us at (207) 474-8376.
