At Animal Medical Clinic, we make it our mission to be a community-oriented practice. We're deeply grateful for the various animal welfare groups in Central Maine that go above and beyond for animals, and are proud to donate our time and provide monetary contributions to support them. Some of the organizations and programs we work with in Skowhegan include:

We never miss an opportunity to help pets and people in the community. Our efforts include:

  • Providing nearly $200,000 in free services through the Maine HelpFixME Program and Cleo Fund, including free or discounted exams, vaccinations, spays, neuters, and flea and tick treatment
  • Supporting extracurricular activities at Skowhegan High School, as well as various youth sports programs through Skowhegan Community Center
  • Providing toiletries for the Skowhegan Backpack Program so that underprivileged students can go home with food and essential hygiene products
  • Serving as a yearbook sponsor for several high schools
  • Offering a free exam to any client who brings in a shelter or rescue pet within 2 weeks of their adoption
  • Providing spays and neuters for low-income families at no cost
  • Providing funding for the yearly community Thanksgiving dinner for people with food insecurity
