“What’s that vaccine for?” – Introduction

We are going to run a series of blog posts going over the different preventative care and wellness recommendations we make for your pet. We know we often aren’t able to discuss as much as we might want during an annual visit!

This first series is going to go over each disease that we utilize vaccines to prevent infection.

For the majority of our patients we recommend:

Dogs – Distemper (virus), Parvo (virus), leptospirosis (bacteria), Lyme (bacteria), Rabies (virus)

Cats – Panleukopenia (virus), Calici (virus), Chlamydia psittaci (bacteria), Leukemia (virus – outdoor cats), Rabies (virus)
