Dr. Kjerstin Winn
Dr. Kjerstin Winn received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grinnell College in 1987. While living on a farm with sheep, cows, horses, geese, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats she rediscovered her childhood love of animals. After 2 years of pre-veterinary requirements fulfilled at the University of Maine at Orono, Dr. Winn attended the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 1996.
Dr. Winn enjoys working with rabbits, rats, and hamsters as well as cats and dogs. Although she is still fascinated with all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Winn is happiest on the days she gets to perform surgeries. In her free time you will usually find her working in the garden, tending to her chickens, or hiking in the woods.
