Dr. Jack Gibson
Dr. Jack Gibson is the co-owner of the Animal Medical Clinic along with his wife, Dr. Gail Gibson. Jack grew up in Union and Norridgewock, Maine and is a graduate of Skowhegan Area High School. His grandfather and uncle both had dairy farms where he worked and found his life’s calling: caring for animals. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Rhode Island and completed his V.M.D. in 1982 at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. He always wanted to return to Maine to practice and that dream was realized when he accepted employment at the Animal Medical Clinic. Together with his wife they purchased the clinic in1984.
He has a special interest in orthopedics. He keeps busy in his spare time by woodworking, fishing, hunting and the occasional golf round with his golf-obsessed wife. He also serves on boards for Somerset Woods Trustees and Somerset Chapter Trout Unlimited and is active in various conservation organizations.
