Dr. Gail Gibson
Dr. Gail Gibson is co-owner of the Animal Medical Clinic with her husband, Dr. Jack Gibson. Gail has been an animal lover since she was just a child. Her parents allowed her to surround herself with many different types of pets, while growing up in Rhode Island, and this helped her evolve into the veterinarian that she is today. Gail graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine and animal science. She started work on her Master of Science degree only to be accepted the following year at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. After four years of study she graduated in 1982 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (V.M.D.) and came to Skowhegan with her husband, Jack, a native of the area. After spending a year working on large animals, she joined her husband at the Animal Medical Clinic and has been there ever since.
Dr. Gibson has a special interest in both difficult skin problems and in ophthamology.
In her “spare” time she is an avid golfer, hiker, and cross- country skier. She has three children, Reid, Lisa and James.
